Books on Breast Cancer

An overwhelming number of books have been published about breast cancer. This makes it difficult to learn even the essentials about your cancer treatment. There are many books on breast cancer, but these have been most useful to many patients:

Susan Love's Breast Book (4th edition)

This is probably the single most complete reference which is not an actual medical textbook. It is up-to-date, very complete, and well illustrated, but harder to read than some patients prefer.

Breast Cancer for Dummies

One of the well-known "books for dummies" series, this book is actually co-authored by a well-known academic breast surgeon-Dr. Monica Morrow. It is a very complete overview of the essential state-of-the-art treatments for breast cancer.
